Nasser and his team did an amazing job transforming the exterior of our property in Castle Hill. The workmanship from his team was excellent and they were very neat and clean. At 12 years, most rendered exteriors have developed some degree of hairline cracking and may have areas where the surface has become more porous through weathering. We assess the full extent of cracking and porosity before quoting, filling all cracks with flexible filler, applying a sealer coat where needed, and topcoating with a quality exterior paint.

Cracks that reappear after painting have been painted over rather than properly filled. The correct approach is flexible filler, a compound that moves with the render through temperature cycling rather than a rigid filler that cracks again with the first season of expansion and contraction. We fill every crack with the appropriate flexible compound, allow it to cure, sand back flush, and then topcoat.

Combining roof and exterior painting in a single project is a cost-effective approach. We schedule the roof first, then move to the exterior so any wash runoff or overspray from the roof doesn’t affect freshly painted walls. We’ll scope both as part of the same quote if you’re looking to do both together.

Peeling in bathrooms is usually caused by one of two things, moisture-resistant paint wasn’t used in the first place, or the surface wasn’t properly prepared before painting. Standard wall paint breaks down quickly in a high-moisture environment. We use semi-gloss bathroom-specific products with moisture resistance built in, and prepare the surface correctly before application. If there’s an underlying moisture issue, a leak, inadequate ventilation, we’ll identify it and let you know at the assessment stage.
